Petra Couvée is Russian expert and author, translator of Nabokov, Tsvetaeva and Pasternak among others. She taught at universities in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. In 2014, she co-wrote with Peter Finn The Zhivago Affair: The Kremlin, the CIA and the Battle over a Forbidden Book (Vintage). It was translated into ten languages and became a huge success.
