Marli Huijer (1955) is Emeritus professor of Public Philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is a philosopher and physician, having obtained her PhD on the late work of Michel Foucault in relation to incurable diseases. Her works include To Love. New Visions on Sexual Freedom in 2018, Discipline (2013) and Rhythm (revised edition, 2015).
