Liesbeth Labeur (Middelburg 1975) lives and works as an artist in the Dutch province of Zeeland. She studied at the Sint Joost Academy in Breda. Pietistic form and Babylonian image confusion are central themes to her artistic practice. She has received numerous awards for her work and was nominated for the prestigious Prix de Rome.
