Jente Posthuma (1974) debuted in 2016 with People with No Charisma, which was published to critical acclaim. What I’d Rather not Think About followed in 2020, shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Literature, and the International Booker Prize 2024. Posthuma’s third book Witch! Witch! Witch! is an idiosyncratic and witty retelling of three ancient Dutch sagas, published in 2023. Posthuma is currently working on a literary non-fiction book.
