Geertjan de Vugt (1985) currently works as science and art coordinator at the Dutch Royal Academy of Arts and Sciences. He also writes about poetry for a number of Dutch newspapers and magazines. As a literary researcher he has worked with the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Princeton University and Internationales Forschungszentrum in Vienna. In 2018, Palgrave Macmillan published his PhD dissertation "Political Dandyism in Literature and Art: Genealogy of a Paradigm". On Fingerprints is his creative non-fiction debut.
