Aya Sabi (Roermond, 1995) is a Belgian author and columnist with Dutch and Moroccan roots. She grew up in Roermond. At 13, she moved with the family to Genk. Even then, she knew she wanted to become a writer. Sabi studied Biomedical Sciences in Maastricht. Since 2021, she has been studying Arabistics and Islamology at KU Leuven.
